Michael Deeds: Dierks Bentley, Judas Priest, Steel Panther concerts announced

With temperatures topping 100 degrees, concerts in air-conditioned arenas are sounding pretty fine right about now.

Here are two major Boise shows announced today ...


Classic metal band Judas Priest will return Friday, Nov. 21, with fan favorites such as "Breaking the Law" and "You've Got Another Thing Coming," as well as music from a new album, "Redeemer of Souls."

Even better? The opening act is Steel Panther, the greatest parody band of all time.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $29.50, $39.50 and $59.50 golden circle at CenturyLink Arena.

Packing an armful of No. 1 country hits such as "Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)" and "Every Mile a Memory," singer Dierks Bentley is headed to Taco Bell Arena for a show Friday, Oct. 10.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Boise State Tickets. No prices were included in the press release from Taco Bell Arena or the promoter. I emailed the promoter and will update as soon as I can. Update: $45/$35/$25. Opening acts include Randy Houser and Eric Paslay.
