If you’re still basking in the glow of last week’s Foo Fighters concert — or wallowing in despair because you missed it — here’s a promotion that should interest you.
“We will be giving away a pair of tickets to every ticketed show in 2018,” marketing director Ember Gutierrez explains. “Pretty cool deal!”
In other words, if you win The Big Ticket, you’re going to everything.

The Ford Idaho Center has become the Treasure Valley’s primary destination for major concerts. And The Big Ticket doesn’t just include concerts. It’s music, motocross, monster trucks, bull riding — any ticketed event at the indoor arena or outdoor amphitheater. Shows already announced for 2018 include Justin Moore, Monster Jam, Amsoil Arenacross, Rod Stewart, Niall Horan, Kenny Chesney, Professional Bull Riders — and Bob Seger, whenever that show gets rescheduled. (I do expect that to happen.) But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Tons more Idaho Center events will be booked in the coming months.
You have to be at least 21 to enter The Big Ticket contest, which is open through Friday. The winner will be notified Dec. 18.
The only catch? Your email address will be added to the Idaho Center’s Cyber Club database, meaning you’ll get occasional updates about shows, concert presales and the like.
