In the Idaho Statesman’s recent guide to outdoor summer concerts, one more show was promised at the annual Summerfield Concerts at Memorial Stadium series.

This morning, it finally arrived: Glass Animals.

The British indie-rock band will headline at the home of the Boise Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 16, at TicketWeb for $30.50 general-admission lawn.

The Idaho concert kicks off Glass Animals’ third North American tour of the year. Since releasing the debut album “Zaba” in 2014 and following up with “How to Be a Human Being” in 2016, Glass Animals’ star has risen steadily. Driven by the popularity of trippy, dreamy songs such as “Gooey” and the new “Pork Soda,” the group’s summer dates include a sold-out July 26 show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

The show at Memorial Stadium will include an opening act, but Glass Animals’ management has not revealed those details yet.
