3 concerts coming to the Canyon County Fair

One week after the Western Idaho Fair announced its grandstand entertainment, the Canyon County Fair in Caldwell has revealed its own Main Stage concert lineup.

General-admission seating is free with paid fair admission. You also can buy reserved-seat tickets. Concerts start at 8 p.m. with the gates opening at 7 p.m.

The Canyon County Fair runs April 27-April 30.

Thursday, July 7: The Marshall Tucker Band with opener Tylor and the Train Robbers

Southern-rockers The Marshall Tucker Band are known for ’70s hits such as “Heard It In a Love Song,” “Fire On The Mountain,” and “Can’t You See.” Cofounder and lead singer Doug Gray still leads the band.

Friday, July 28: Sammy Kershaw with opener Steve Moakler

A force in the 1990s, singer Sammy Kershaw has landed more than 25 songs in the country Top 40 including “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” “Queen of My Double-Wide Trailer” and “Vidalia.”

Saturday, July 29: Old Dominion with opener Brooke Eden

A current band at the fair? Yep. Old Dominion hit the country Top 10 in the past couple of years with singles “Shut Me Up,” “Break Up with Him” and “Snapback.”
