With a voice that soars and cracks with just the right amounts of toughness and vulnerability, Lydia Loveless has attracted a diehard fan base with her immersive take on electric honky-tonk music. She’s been featured on “Best New Artist” lists from Rolling Stone and Spin. She’s seemed poised for her big breakthrough for the past five years. It hasn’t quite happened — yet. If you’re one of those people on the bandwagon, do the world a favor: Share the Loveless love. Take a friend to her concert at Neurolux. Oh, and check out the rock documentary “Who is Lydia Loveless?” when it comes out on home video later this year.

8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, Neurolux, 111 N. 11th St., Boise. $16. TicketWeb or at the door. Opening: Angelica Garcia, Jensen Buck. Loveless also will perform a free, all-ages show at 6 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Record Exchange, 1105 W. Idaho St.
