1. GO SEE MUSIC

Friday is indie night. The Frights will rock The Olympic with fellow San Diego band The Soaks. Meanwhile, New York-based duo Iska Dhaf headlines Neurolux with openers Fauna Shade (Seattle) and St. Terrible (Boise). Friday also is paint-party night. Get splattered while watching DJs including Borgeous, Zomboy and Kayzo at the Life in Color: Kingdom tour at the Idaho Center Amphitheater. On Sunday evening, check out Grammy-nominated Americana singer-songwriter Will Hoge, who is on a solo tour that stops at the Sapphire Room at the Riverside Hotel. Or head back to Neurolux for female-fronted indie-rock trio Eisley on Sunday.
