Adult Book Club: 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, Boise Public Library, Collister branch, 4724 W. State St. “Stones from the River” by Ursula Hegi.

BLiP Reading Series: 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, The Rediscovered Bookshop, 180 N. 8th St., Boise. BLiP is a monthly reading series that features work by local playwrights. June’s BLiP: The Dog Days of Summer 10-Minute Play Festival. Free, but donations or patron membership suggested to help support HomeGrown Theatre.

Adult Storytime: 7:30-8:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, Boise Public Library at Cole and Ustick, 7557 W. Ustick Road. The storytime for adults will revolve around a specific theme using short stories, poems, videos and more. The theme for this week’s storytime will be horror. Light refreshments will be available.

Book Club for Adults: 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, Boise Public Library, Hillcrest branch, 5246 W. Overland Road. “Flight Behavior” by Barbara Kingsolver.
