Story times: The Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Garden City, Kuna, Ada, Caldwell and Nampa public libraries offer story programs for children of all ages. Go to their websites and click on the calendar to check out the offerings.

Writing Workshop: 7-8:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, Boise Public Library, main branch, 715 S. Capitol Blvd. The Writing Workshop is a hands-on program for adult writers who want to share and discuss their work.

Adult Storytime: 7:30-8:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, Boise Public Library, Cole and Ustick branch, 7557 W. Ustick Road. The storytime for adults will focus on a specific theme using short stories, poems, videos and more. The theme for this week’s storytime will be crass humor.

Author event: 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, Boise Public Library, main branch. Author, entrepreneur and Utah State University professor Michael Glauser will speak about his book, “Main Street Entrepreneur” and introduce the nine powerful keys for building a successful business. A book-signing will follow.

Author event: 7 p.m. Thursday, June 23, The Rediscovered Bookstore, 180 N. 8th St., Boise. Don Miguel Ruiz Jr. will speak and hold a book-signing for the release of his new book “The Mastery of Self.”

Friday Book Guild: 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, Barnes & Noble, 1315 N. Milwaukee Ave., Boise. Join us on the fourth Friday of each month for an in-depth conversation of our latest featured book.

Author event: 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, The Rediscovered Bookstore, Boise. Local author Meredith Fern Messinger, author of “7% Chance of Sunshine” will be on hand during the Capital City Public Market.
