Morning Book Club: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, Meridian Library, 1326 W. Cherry Lane. This week we will be discussing the first half of this month’s book, “And the Ladies of the Club” by Helen Hooven Santmyer.
Tasty Tales Storytime: 10 and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, Guru Donuts, 204 N. Capitol Blvd. Every Tuesday through Sept. 27. Booksellers from Rediscovered Books will be down at Guru Donuts reading their favorite picture books. $2.50 for drink and doughnut (reading is free). Storytime books are 20 percent off on site and at Rediscovered Books, 180 N. 8th St., all day.

Boise Bookmarks: 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 8, Boise Public Library, 715 S. Capitol Blvd. If you are passionate about books and reading, are in 7th-12th grade and live in the Boise area, the Boise Bookmarks are for you. Read whatever you want and tell each other about the books. You’ll leave with a ton of titles to add to your TBR pile and meet teens from all over the city.
Author event: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, Rediscovered Books, 180 N. 8th St., Boise. Hear award-winning storyteller Ben Kemper perform a selection of myths and folklore. This event is free and appropriate for all ages.
