Read Me Treasure Valley Program: Orphan Train: Wednesday, Feb. 24, 7 p.m. Boise Public Library, main branch, 715 S. Capitol Blvd. Join BSU history professor John Bieter to learn more about America and the West during the time of the Orphan Train program. Gain a deeper understanding of the Orphan Train book through this discussion of westward expansion and mid- to late 19th century America. Presented in partnership with Idaho State Archives.

Author event: Friday, Feb. 26, 7 p.m., Boise Public Library, main branch, Hayes Auditorium. Rediscovered Books presents a reading and signing with best-selling author V.E. Schwab. Schwab will read from her new book, “A Gathering of Shadows.”
