Outdoor Conversations: 7-8:30 p.m., Rediscovered Books, 180 N. 8th St., Boise. Guidebook author Margaret Fuller will be sharing her experiences and photos of hiking Idaho for nearly 40 years.

Writer’s Bloc: Sherry Briscoe: 6-7 p.m., unBound, 713 N. Main St., Meridian. Sherry Briscoe, a native Idahoan, has traveled around the world. Having lived in Europe and on both the East and West coasts of the U.S., she has found her way back home. She founded the Idaho Screenwriter’s Association, now merged with the Idaho Media Professionals, in 1999. Through the years of writing for newspapers and magazines, she continues her passion by writing short stories and novels.

The Writers’ Corner: Think Like a Developmental Editor: 1-2 p.m., Boise Public Library main branch. Join the Idaho Writers Guild for The Writers’ Corner series of free workshops for beginning to intermediate writers. Presenter: Cristen Iris.

Book and Wine Night with the Basque Market: 7:30-8:30 p.m., Rediscovered Books, Boise. Find a new book, try a new libation and be surrounded by people who love words and good company. This is an after-hours event and limited to 40 people.
