Satisfy your yen for Japanese culture at the annual Japan Day in Boise. This year’s highlight is a performance by Chicago-based Kabuki dance master Fujima Shunojo, pictured. You’ll also see demonstrations of Japanese lion dancing, art, music, martial arts, origami and calligraphy, plus a kids’ carnival and a flea market. There will be food available for purchase Idaho Japanese Association and the Consulate General of Japan.
