Visionary puppet designer and director Janni Younge and her company of dancers and puppeteers will perform her monumental retelling of the “Firebird” folktale with the Sun Valley Summer Symphony playing Stravinsky’s full-length ballet score on Monday, Aug. 1.
The production opens the Sun Valley Summer Symphony Orchestra Festival that runs through Thursday, Aug. 18.
“Firebird” stage manager Robyn Sacks gives a backstage tour of the puppets, the production and the spirit of the show.
