McCall SummerFest brings classical music to the mountain town

Head to cool McCall for SummerFest, a weeklong celebration of classical music in the mountains. Artistic Director and conductor David Itkin returns for a second summer to conduct the 46-member SummerFest orchestra for concerts that range from Tchaikovsky to Broadway. You’ll also find guest performances by violinist Tim Fain, vocalist Kristen Hertzenberg, soprano Samantha Kantak, the SummerFest Brass Quintet and organist Tom Robin Harris.

Sunday, July 17, to Sunday, July 24, at various venues in the McCall area. Individual tickets run $30 to $79. The Saturday, July 23, Children’s Concert is free. Series tickets for Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday concerts are $75 at McCallMusicSociety.org/summerfest.
