New York’s Shuffle brings its interactive concert to the Caldwell Fine Arts series and lets the audience pick the program.
New York’s Shuffle brings its interactive concert to the Caldwell Fine Arts series and lets the audience pick the program.

Experience a different kind of classical concert with the musicians of New York’s Shuffle, a group that lets the audience pick the program. Pianist Eliran Avni came up with the idea to create a concert that works like the shuffle mode on a digital player. Audience members get a number and musical menu that ranges from Brahms to Gershwin. If they call your number, choose a favorite tune and watch the musicians “shuffle” to play your selection.

7 p.m. Saturday, April 9, Jewett Auditorium, College of Idaho, 2112 E. Cleveland Blvd., Caldwell. $10-$20 general, $5-$10 children. 459-5275, CaldwellFineArts.org.
