‘Peter and the Wolf’ headlines the Meridian Symphony’s concert

For a howlin’ good time, join James Ogle and Meridian Symphony for Prokofiev’s musical story “Peter and the Wolf,” then head to outer space with John William’s “The Empire Strikes Back.” Bring the kids at 6:30 p.m. and enjoy the annual Instrument Petting Zoo from Dunkley’s Music. (The Petting Zoo event is free.)

7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, Centennial High School Performing Arts Center, 12400 W. McMillan Road, Boise. $11 general, $9 students and seniors, $27 for a family.
