The countdown has begun for the close of the 23rd annual Valentine for AIDS art show and silent auction. Over the last several days, people have been bidding on the work of more than 250 area artists at Flying M Coffeehouse. Now, with just three days left, the bidding heats up as art lovers try to nab their favorite pieces. This is a great place to start or add to your collection or just get a cool Valentine’s Day gift. The funds raised benefit SNAP (Safety Net For AIDS Program). In 2015, the auction raised $27,000 to help people living with HIV/AIDS fill in financial gaps.

Bidding happens 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, and Saturday, Feb. 13; final bids from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, Flying M Coffeehouse, 500 W. Idaho St., Boise. (208) 345-4320. FlyingMCoffee.com.
