Ok, so you’ve been dumped (or maybe you did the dumping) or it was just bad timing, or perhaps you grew in different ways. Whatever the reason, your relationship is over and now you’ve got all this stuff – photographs, T-shirts, mismatched earrings, cards, letters, his toaster, her electric toothbrush or other remnants of the love that’s past.
Well, instead of burning or trashing it, you can donate something to the Museum of Broken Relationships an international art installation that will inhabit Ming Studios, 420 S. 6th St., in Boise, from Thursday, Feb. 4 to Thursday, March 3.
The international traveling installation has been eliciting tears, laughter, empathy and poignancy from viewers in cities large and small from Taipei to Amsterdam, and now in Boise.
And you have a chance to become part of this international movement to reclaim our collective broken hearts.
