She will stay through The Cabin’s 20th anniversary celebration at the The Cabin, formerly the Log Cabin Literary Center, 801 S. Capitol Blvd., in Downtown Boise from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 6.
Udesen grew up in Minneapolis. She moved to Ketchum in 1998 where she became the director of education and humanities at the Sun Valley Center for the Arts in the mid 2000s. She took the position at The Cabin in 2013 and has helped the literary center to increase its reach, said Cabin board president Karen Baerlocher.
“The work that Britt did in the last two years has taken our organization to a new level,” she said. “Her enthusiasm has been contagious, and we are a much stronger organization because of her passion and leadership.”
