But take heart: There will be options closer to the production dates in July.
Individual tickets for wildly successful musical “The Book of Mormon” went in less than 2 hours when sales started at 10 a.m. March 20.
The irreverent and controversial musical about a group of Mormon missionaries facing trials, tribulations and culture shock in Uganda, has been a huge boon to the Morrison Center.
The musical is part of the Broadway in Boise subscription package, so those tickets went first.
“We’ve had our highest subscription rate we’ve ever had,” says box office assistant Ali Hege.
Then there were group sales and a special pre-sale for Morrison Center members.
More tickets may go on sale as it gets closer to the performance dates of July 21-26. The best way to track that is to sign up for the Morrison Center’s online newsletter.
The theater also will hold a ticket lottery before each show, similar to the lottery held during the run of “Wicked.”
