Boise-raised actor Aaron Paul is having a good week.
He’s opening in the Ridley Scott epic “Exodus: Gods and Kings” this week. Rumors put him in Boise last week, hanging out with his family and friends. Now, he's traveling to make appearances this week. Last night he was on Jimmy Kimmel talking about the film and surprising his wife Lauren Parsekian on her birthday.
In “Exodus” Paul plays Joshua, the Hebrew slave who helps Moses (Christian Bale) lead the Jews out of Egypt. Check out the review in Scene on Dec. 12.
The three-time Emmy winner's film career continues to develop. He has four films coming out in 2015, including "Fathers and Daughters" with Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried and Quvenzhané Wallis ("12 Years a Slave").
He also launched his YB app that lets you send colorful messages in his voice in the style of his “Breaking Bad” character Jesse Pinkman. Yes, it includes the catch phrase “Yo’ b**ch!” so not for kids. It’s rated 12+. You can get the YB for free on iTunes. An additional .99 cents will unlock other Pinkman (expletive deleted) phrases.
