Idaho Power is commissioning a series of three significant artworks as part of its 100th anniversary celebration in 2016. The paintings or photographs should reflect the themes of the celebration: partnership, community, environment, technology and Idaho Power’s changing identity.
The pieces will be framed and exhibited at Idaho Power’s building, 1221 W. Idaho St., Boise. Prints will be made and shared with the public.
Idaho Power was established in 1916. Today it serves more than 500,000 customers throughout a 24,000-square-mile area in southern Idaho and eastern Oregon. You can read more about Idaho Power’s history here.
This call is a partnership with Idaho Power and the Boise City Department of Arts and History. The deadline for the call is 4 p.m. Nov. 21. The budget is $30,000.
