Services for Linda Eustice Berg, who died on Oct. 10, have been arranged. Berg battled endometrial cancer for several years. She was 68.

A beloved music educator and singer, Berg taught multiple generations of children to bring joy to their lives through music for more than 30 years in the Boise and Meridian school districts. She founded and led Opera Idaho Children’s Chorus for more than 20 years and volunteered as vocal director for Boise Music Week throughout her career.
“Linda instilled and cemented a love of music in children and everyone around her,” Teresa Eshelman Barnes posted on Facebook.
Berg received the Idaho Teacher of the Year award in 2010 and was the grand marshal at the Boise Holiday Parade in 2014.
