Theater company Actors From the London Stage has been in residency at Boise State University all week, teaching master classes and workshops to BSU and high school theater students. The company was co-founded by noted British actor Sir Patrick Stewart, best known in America as Capt. Jean-Luc Picard of the Starship Enterprise. He’s also a well-heeled theater actor who co-founded this company to share the techniques and practices of England’s best companies with American colleges. The five actors also will give a free stripped-down performance of Shakespeare’s “King Richard III,” a play that offers a unique focus on contemporary politics.

7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, and Saturday, Oct. 22, Boise State University SPEC, Free.
