DreamWeaver Theatre takes you down the yellow brick road to ‘Oz’

Follow Dorothy, Toto and her pals Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow and Tinman down the fabled yellow brick road and into the magical land of Oz in DreamWeaver Musical Theatre’s production of “The Wizard of Oz.” You’ll find all the fun and the classic songs from the beloved film, with a few twists. Director Annie Castiel is using the Royal Shakespeare Company’s adaptation of the Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg musical, which adds a few new characters to the mix. Ticket sales will benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Idaho.

7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9 and 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, Jewett Auditorium, 2112 Cleveland Blvd., Caldwell; 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, Special Events Center, Boise State University. $12 general, $7 students and seniors, $5 for kids 4 to 6 years old at DreamWeaverMusicalTheatre.org.
