Spend ‘One Night in Bangkok’ with the cast of Music Theatre of Idaho’s ‘Chess’

The Cold War heats up all over again with Music Theatre of Idaho’s production of “Chess.” Global tensions are at their highest when the chess world invades Bangkok for a tournament between Frederick, an American, and Anatoly, a Soviet, played by brothers Mac and Tristan Fishman, pictured. Tensions heat up when Fredrick’s chess second, Florence (Rebecca Duggan), falls for Anatoly. The score by Tim Rice (“Cats”) and ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson (“Mamma Mia”) debuted as a concept album in 1984 that yielded the hit single “One Night In Bangkok.”
