Spring brings bounty of new choreography to Idaho Dance Theatre

Idaho Dance Theatre spring concert

Several former Idaho Dance Theatre artists come hope to create new work for IDT’s concert this weekend. You’ll see a new work by former member and New York City-based freelance choreographer Jenn Freeman: “Elements of Kin,” a series of duets that honestly explores relationships within a family. Also, Gonzalo Valdez is back with a South American-flavored ballet, dancer Yurek Hansen will perform a new solo of his own creation and artistic director Marla Hansen will premiere “The Mountain,” a ballet about life in the wild.
