Boise Philharmonic and Master Chorale combine for season finale

Boise Philharmonic’s romantic finale

The Boise Philharmonic’s season “Romantic Journey: Expect the Unexpected” has lived up to hype, but never more than in this — a special, one-night-only performance of Berloiz’ lush score to “Romeo and Juliet.” This is going to be big, with the full orchestra under the direction of Robert Franz and the full force of the Boise Philharmonic Master Chorale, with the College of Idaho and Boise choruses under the baton of Jim Jirak. Plus soloists Michele Detwiler, alto, Adam Wade Duncan, tenor, and Reginald Smith Jr., baritone.

Sat

8 p.m. April 18, Morrison Center, 2201 Cesar Chavez Lane, Boise. $22.70-$70.40. 344-7849, boisephilharmonic.org.
