, 1314 W. Grove St., Boise, will start up again in June. Dates are forthcoming. It will feature free readings by two to three local and/or regional writers in the boutique hotel’s courtyard.

Sun Valley Writers’ Conference

, which happens July 17-20, will feature visiting writers such as Ethiopian-American novelist and poet Dinaw Mengestu, PBS NewHour correspondent and author Jeffrey Brown and Boise’s award-winning novelist and short-story writer Tony Doerr. Full-conference packages are $950. Some talks will be open to the public, and individual tickets will be available closer to the conference dates.
