Robert Franz and the Boise Philharmonic put the accent on local with two pieces by Idaho composers. You’ll hear Jim Cockey’s elegant and moving “Gift of the Elk,” which features Grammy winning-flutist Joseph FireCrow, pictured, and David Biedenbender’s “Dance the Dream Awake.” The evening finishes with Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8, a spirited piece filled with lively folk tunes and fanfare.
