It’s time to celebrate a favorite fragrant flowering herb — lavender. This year produced a bumper crop of the good-smelling, good-tasting stuff. You can pick your own to take home for $5, enjoy tasty lavender-flavored treats from Sophie’s Choice Catering, including lemonade and cookies, learn about lavender and its uses, shop local arts and crafts, and listen to live music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
