Boise’s favorite hockey team is having an exceptional season. The Steelies will try to keep the ball rolling — er, puck sliding — while hosting the Alaska Aces this weekend. Simultaneously, Idaho will wear custom-made jerseys while hosting the annual “Pink in the Rink” promotion. The jerseys will be up for grabs in a silent auction held during both games. Proceeds will go to St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute for cancer research.

7:10 p.m. Friday, March 4, and Saturday, March 5, CenturyLink Arena, 233 S. Capitol Blvd., Boise. $10-$35. centurylinkarenaboise.com.
