Update: Rainy outlook prompts postponement of ZZ Top, relocation of Allen Stone show

Fans gearing up to see ZZ Top at the Ford Idaho Center Amphiteater Wednesday night will have to wait until sometime in 2016, the Idaho Center announced Tuesday evening.

An IC Tickets news release attributed the decision to "potentially inclement weather and concern for fan safety." The National Weather Service reports that showers are likely in the Treasure Valley Wednesday night.

IC Tickets did not offer refunds but asked fans to hold on to their tickets, which will be honored at the rescheduled concert. No date has been set for that concert, but "all ticket holders will be messaged with this new date as soon as it is determined."

In other news, Knitting Factory has to move the outdoor Allen Stone concert Wednesday evening into its 999-capacity club, rather than holding the event outside in the alley.

It was supposed to be the debut show in the alley (at least since Knitting Factory has owned the concert house), branded as The Parallel at Knitting Factory.
