Basque Soccer Friendly brings the world to Boise

The flavor of Jaialdi arrives early with the Basque Soccer Friendly game that pits Spain’s Athletic Bilbao against Mexico’s Club Tijuana. The two top international teams will play on BSU’s field, turned green with real grass for the occasion. Tailgating starts at noon, with mariachi and Basque bands in the VIP tents inside. The official after-party goes from 9 p.m. to midnight in the parking lot at 6th and Grove streets.

7:06 p.m. July 18, Albertsons Stadium, 1400 W. Bronco Circle, Boise. $35-$95. Ticketmaster.
