Zoo Boise opens its new South American exhibit for Zoo Daze

See Zoo Boise’s newest addition at the annual Zoo Daze this weekend, the grand opening of the South American exhibit. You also can check out penguins, inca terns, armadillos and capybara, pictured, the world’s largest rodent species. (It’s like a giant guinea pig.) And don’t forget to check out the butterfly exhibit, with its 50 species of the beautiful insects. This year, it’s free with admission.
