Dogs compete for top honors at Treasure Valley dog shows this week

The fur will be flying at Expo Idaho as more than 1,200 pooches and pups compete for top dog at the annual Treasure Valley Dog Shows.

The Lizard Butte and Idaho Capital City kennel clubs will hold competitions in obedience, conformation, agility and other doggie disciplines.

You’ll see some of the best dogs in the nation compete in this nationally ranked event. Admission is free.

Hit the vendor area for professional advice on canine behavior and health, and find loads of doggie items from extravagant to practical.
