Going to the game

Arena: The Steelheads play their home games at Qwest Arena, located at 233 S. Capitol Boulevard in Downtown Boise.

Tickets: Prices for individual game tickets range from $7 to $32.50 and can be purchased at the Qwest Arena box office, by calling 331-8497 or through IdahoSteelheads.com. Fans can use the site to purchase individual game tickets, select seats and print tickets from home. For information about season tickets, flex-plans and mini-plans, call 383-0080.

Seasonlong promotions: Wednesday nights will be Ladies Night. Women can enjoy drink specials until the puck drops for the second period. On Fridays, families can get four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for $44. There will also be giveaway dates throughout the season, beginning opening night with a schedule magnet giveaway.

Following the team

RADIO: Games can be heard live on KTIK (1350 AM). Doug Plagens is the new voice of the Steelheads. Current and former players will provide color. The Idaho Steelheads Bud Light Hockey Show airs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weeknights.

TV: Cable One Channel 17 will air home games the day after they are played at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. All Friday home games will air live this season.

ONLINE: Games can be heard via the Internet through the Steelheads Web site at IdahoSteelheads.com. Games can be watched through a Webcast link on the site. The cost is $6.
