The No. 6-seeded Broncos (8-22) suffered their third 3-0 loss to No. 2 New Mexico State (19-8) this season in the WAC semifinals in Las Vegas. The Aggies won 25-16, 26-24, 26-10. Elizabeth Griffin led Boise State with nine kills.

IDAHO STATE FOOTBALL: Sophomore linebacker A.J. Storms, a 2008 Meridian High graduate, and senior punter Jon Vanderwielen were selected to the All-Big Sky first team. Storms, who earned honorable mention All-Big Sky last year as a safety, registered 120 tackles.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE BASKETBALL: The Crusaders led by 32 points at halftime and scored 64 in the second half in a 115-73 victory against Walla Walla in Nampa.

IDAHO STATE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: The Bengals beat Montana Western 63-50 to record their first win this season. Senior Oana Iacovita led the team with 20 points.
