Idaho football coach Robb Akey expects quarterback Nathan Enderle to return to the starting lineup Saturday when the Vandals play host to Utah State.

Enderle missed the past two games - both losses - with a shoulder injury he sustained while leading the Vandals to a come-from-behind victory over Louisiana Tech on Oct. 31.

"I expect that we'll have him playing quarterback for us this week," Akey said. "He's been able to participate more (in practice) and he's throwing better."

IUPATI A FINALISTFOR OUTLAND TROPHY

Senior offensive guard Mike Iupati has been named one of three finalists for the Outland Trophy, which is given to the nation's best interior lineman.

Iupati is one of only three players from non-BCS conferences to become a finalist for one of nine awards being presented Dec. 10 in Orlando, Fla.

The other finalists are Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and Oklahoma State offensive tackle Russell Okung.
