The first-round match between the Gem State rivals starts 6 p.m. at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The third-seeded Vandals (15-14 overall, 11-5 WAC) and sixth-seeded Broncos (7-21, 7-9) split their regular-season matches. The winner of Monday's match advances to the tournament semifinals against No. 2 seed New Mexico State. The Vandals had three players - outside hitter Sarah Conwell and middle blockers Anna McKinney and Debbie Pederson - named to the All-WAC's first team. Boise State put outside hitter Liz Harden on the all-freshman team and had three players - middle blockers Sadie Maughan and Alisha Young and setter Breann Nesselhuff - make the second team. Regular-season champion Hawaii swept the top individual honors as Kanani Danielson (player of year), Brittany Hewitt (freshman of year) and Dave Shoji (coach of the year) were honored Sunday night at a banquet.

BOISE STATE WRESTLING: The eighth-ranked Broncos rolled to wins over No. 13 Wisconsin (30-9) and Oregon State (25-7). Winning both of their bouts for BSU were Andrew Hochstrasser (133), Levi Jones (141), Adam Hall (157), Nate Lee (174), Kirk Smith (184) and Matt Casperson (197).

IDAHO WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: The Vandals (0-3) made only one field goal in the first 13 minutes of a 70-58 loss to Montana State (3-1) in Moscow. Rachele Kloke posted 16 points, six rebounds and three assists. Shaena Kuehu scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds and had two steals off the bench for Idaho.

NAIA VOLLEYBALL: The College of Idaho and Lewis-Clark State both qualified for the NAIA national tournament that begins Dec. 1 in Sioux City, Iowa. The eighth-seeded Coyotes and Warriors are in Pool E with Azusa Pacific and Doane, Neb. The top two teams in each pool advance to a single-elimination bracket with the winner earning the national title.
