Whitworth Treasure scored 21 points and Texas Southern rallied in the second half to beat Idaho 72-65 in Houston on Sunday night. Treasure scored 14 of his points in the final 20 minutes when the Tigers (1-1) outscored the Vandals 42-33. Mac Hopson led Idaho (1-1) with 14 points, and Kashif Watson added 13.

IDAHO STATE MEN'S BASKETBALL: Dodie Dunson scored 16 points before leaving with a possible season-ending injury in Bradley's 74-69 victory over the Bengals in Peoria, Ill. Idaho State's Broderick Gilchrest was the game's high scorer with 19 points.

IDAHO STATE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Freshman DeNesha Stallworth scored 17 points to help No. 18 Cal open its season with a 100-43 rout of the Bengals in Berkeley, Calif. Oana Iacovita led Idaho State (0-2) with 15 points.
