Jessica Tiffany was one of three players added to the Vandals' roster Friday. The

6-foot outside hitter was the 2009 4A SIC player of the year at Columbia. Idaho also signed Alyssa Schultz of Issaquah, Wash., and Ashley Christman of British Columbia.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO VOLLEYBALL: Whitney Owen had 28 digs as the Coyotes defeated Concordia 25-14, 25-15, 25-23 to advance to the Cascade Conference Tournament final. The Coyotes (23-2) play Southern Oregon at 3 p.m. Saturday at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center for a spot in the NAIA National Championships.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Borah High product Nicole Gall scored 27 points and Bishop Kelly grad Nicole Bruce added 13, but the Coyotes fell 93-91 to Westminster in Salt Lake City.

BOISE STATE SWIMMING & DIVING: The Broncos defeated Northern Arizona 185.5-114.5. Jennifer Cahill, Emily Irvin, Amber Boucher and Stephanie North each won two events for Boise State.
