Chelsea Small was named WAC offensive player of the week. The freshman broke open a 1-1 tie against Boise State with a goal in the 58th minute, then added an insurance goal 23 minutes later to give the Vandals a 3-1 victory - their first against the Broncos since 2003.

Wilson/ITA Division I women's Mountain Region Championships on Sunday in Las Vegas. She also teamed with Lauren Megale to capture the doubles title.
Idaho State women's soccer: Senior Annamarie Hofstetter, a Timberline High graduate, was named Big Sky Conference offensive player of the week. She scored a goal and had an assist in ISU's 4-2 victory against Northern Arizona. Her 23rd career assist established a Big Sky record.
College of Idaho basketball: Cascade Conference coaches picked the Coyotes to win the men's and women's basketball titles. Guard Nicole Gall, a Borah High graduate, was named preseason women's player of the year.
