ALL-SPORT

Boise State Summer Youth Program: For ages 5-14 for swimming and gymnastics and ages 8-14 for all other activities, various times from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday though July 24. Program includes: basketball, bowling, cheer/dance, gymnastics, multi-sport (floor hockey, lacrosse, soccer, flag football, Frisbee,), racquetball, rock climbing, strength and conditioning, swimming, team building, tennis and water games. BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

Conner Landa/Daniel Miller Memorial Co-Ed Softball Tournament: The inaugural tournament is July 10-12 in Homedale. The event is a fundraiser for the Conner Landa Memorial Fund and for the Homedale Youth Program. The tournament takes place at Sundance Park (116 E. Owyhee in Homedale). Teams in the USSSA sanctioned tournament (A, B, and C divisions) will play a minimum of four games. The entry fee is $210, which also guarantees a spot in Saturday night's home run derby. On-site camping and RV parking will be available. Along with the tournament, there is a street party July 11 from 7-11 p.m., with Soul Sereen performing along with a DJ. Two Brian Urlacher signed game jerseys will be auctioned off during the three-day event. For more information, call Chris Hoshaw at 989-2947.

Thunder Mountain Days Men's Softball Tournament: Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Cascade. This is a USSSA men's middle/lower "D" tournament. Entry fee is $200. Also a home run derby. Call Gilbert Longoria at (208) 989-7559 or e-mail longoria3@cableone.net to sign up.

Fall Adult Coed Softball: Teams play 10 regular-season games followed by a double-elimination tournament. Games are played Monday through Thursday evenings at Skyview. Shooting Stars: Program for boys/girls in kindergarten and first grades is designed to provide a fun, challenging sports experience that emphasizes learning skills and sports values. A team placement evaluation starts at 6 p.m. July 8 at Court No. 1 at the NRC.
