Boise State has finished the renewal, upgrade and waiting list process for football season tickets.

Now it's everyone else's turn, the school announced Tuesday.

Boise State has sold 18,325 season tickets out of the 23,500 that are available for the 2009 season, Bronco Stadium will seat 33,500 fans this season, thanks to the addition of 1,564 seats in the South End Zone.

Last season, Boise State sold 20,854 season tickets (not including 1,526 in the Stueckle Sky Club).

Here is where season tickets are available for this year's seven-game home schedule, which starts Sept. 3 against Oregon:

• There are 2,200 end zone seats available ($215 per adult ticket in the North End Zone and $264 per adult ticket in the South End Zone).

• Four-hundred seats remain in the Family Plan section ($738 per plan, which includes two adult and two junior tickets per game) or within other non-priority sections of the stadium ($305 or $330 per ticket).

• There are 2,575 tickets available in the priority sections between the goal lines, which cost $387 per seat. These seating sections require a tax-deductible membership with the Bronco Athletic Association for every two seats purchased, ranging from $140 to $925 annually.

Only season tickets are on sale now. Single-game tickets, if available, will go on sale in mid-August.

The Athletic Ticket Office is on the west side of Bronco Stadium and is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 426-4737 for more information.

MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM ADDS GAME WITH SAN DIEGO

The Broncos will host the West Coast Conference school in a nonconference game at Taco Bell Arena, the WCC office confirmed Tuesday.

The game, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12, is one of five home games confirmed by the Idaho Statesman. Coach Greg Graham's team also faces Cal State Bakersfield, Portland State, Houston Baptist and will host a game in ESPNU's Bracket Buster weekend on Feb. 19 or 20.

Boise State doesn't release its schedule until all game contracts have been signed.

The Statesman also has confirmed road games at Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Wyoming and Illinois. The Broncos are slated to open the season in Missoula, Mont., playing three games in three days against Montana, Loyola Marymount and North Dakota.

Boise State and San Diego have played in each of the past two seasons, with the Broncos winning both games.

CHARGERS RELEASE JEREMY CHILDS

The former Boise State wide receiver, who passed on his senior season, signed an NFL free agent deal with San Diego after going undrafted earlier this year.

He was the Broncos' leading receiver in 2008, hauling in 72 passes for 802 yards. He scored seven touchdowns.

BSU WILL HOST 2009 WAC SOCCER TOURNEY

The championships will take place at the Boas Soccer Complex on Nov. 5-8.

Boise State has released its 2009 schedule, which includes three home tournaments in September and four conference home matches in October and November.
