It was only fitting on the night that Jeremy Mylymok's No. 4 jersey was retired that the Idaho Steelheads scored four goals.
Idaho turned those scores into a 4-1 win over the Utah Grizzlies on Saturday night at Qwest Arena.
It was only the second time this season that Idaho (12-8-1-1) had won in regulation at home.
Idaho rookie Matt McKnight started the scoring with his first goal in the first period. Kris Sparre and Matt Stephenson and Ben Nelson also scored for the Steelheads.
The outcome was never really in question after that. Utah got a second-period goal, but Idaho answered with a Ben Nelson score in the third.
Idaho goalie Rejean Beauchemin (6-3-2) stopped 42 of the 43 shots he faced en route to the victory.
"I thought this was one of the better games we played," Steelheads coach Derek Laxdal said.
