Stroke-play medalist Erik Flores of Grass Valley, Calif., and runner-up Adam Hadwin of Abbotsford, British Columbia, continued to dominate as they each won two matches Thursday at the 107th PNGA Men's Amateur Championship at BanBury Golf Club in Eagle.

The tournament continues Friday with the quarterfinals and semifinal matches. The championship concludes on Saturday with a 36-hole final.

Hadwin is the only player left that is not from California. The seven players from California that have advanced to the quarterfinals are Flores, Stephen Hale of Bakersfield, Matt Grush of Los Angeles, George Gandranata of Emeryville, Jason Kang of Valencia, Blake Trimble of Rancho Santa Fe and Kent Yamane of San Jose.
