Tori Williams, Centennial: The Patriots claimed their first 5A District Three Tournament championship since winning three in a row from 2009-11 with a 59-54 double-overtime victory against Boise. Williams, a sophomore guard, scored a game-high 27 points — including 15 in the third quarter — as the Patriots earned the league's No. 1 seed at the state tournament. Centennial opens state play against Rocky Mountain at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.

Bryce Schroeder, Vallivue: The Falcons wrapped up their season with three losses last week, despite getting 61 points from their senior guard. Schroeder got stronger as the week went on, tallying 10 points, six rebounds, one steal and one assist in a 71-42 loss to Eagle. He then had 26 points, seven rebounds and two steals in a 71-63 loss to Boise. In a district tournament play-in game, Schroeder finished his prep career with 25 points, eight rebounds, two steals and two assists in a 77-54 loss to Boise.
Dorian Sapien, Borah: The senior closed out the Lions' regular-season schedule by going unbeaten in the Grapple for the Granite while simultaneously establishing Borah's single-season pin record with 28. Sapien, the reigning Rollie Lane champion at 120 pounds and the defending 5A state champion at 113 pounds, improved to 36-3 this season.
