Mandy Simpson, Boise: The Braves wrapped up the 5A Southern Idaho Conference regular season with victories over Columbia and Vallivue. Simpson, a 6-foot sophomore forward, came two assists shy of a triple-double in a 63-37 win over Vallivue, finishing with 16 points, 18 rebounds and eight assists. The Braves open the 5A District Three Tournament at home Tuesday against Columbia.

Dedi Seme, Riverstone International: The Otters won back-to-back games for the second time in school history and earned a school record third road win in a single season with a pair of victories last week. Seme, a sophomore, averaged 19.5 points, 17.5 rebounds and five assists in wins over Idaho City (43-42) and Rimrock (50-33). He also became the third player in school history to score 22 or more points when he dropped 22 against Idaho City to go with 21 rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots and two steals.
Pierce Mederios, Mountain Home: The sophomore improved to 30-1 this season with an individual victory at the Red Halverson Invitational over the weekend at Minico High. Mederios, the 2014 4A state champion at 98 pounds, earned a 3-2 decision over Caldwell's Ismael Cerros in the 106-pound championship match. In his three other tournament matches, Mederios won two by pin and one by major decision.
