Christian Blaser, Rocky Mountain: The Grizzlies set up a rematch with Highland in the 5A state semifinals by defeating two-time defending state champion Coeur d'Alene 43-21 last Friday at Brighton Stadium in Meridian. Blaser, a junior quarterback, rushed for 228 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries and completed 6-of-9 passes for 71 yards and another score without an interception.

Peyton Judy, Bishop Kelly: The defending 4A state champions eliminated District Three rival Skyview 38-14 in the state quarterfinals last Friday at Nick Ysursa Field in Boise. Judy, a senior running back, rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries, helping the Knights avenge a 39-9 loss to the Hawks in the final game of the regular season.
Jerred Seamons, Fruitland: The Grizzlies rallied from a 28-7 deficit for a 38-14 victory over Timberlake in the 3A state quarterfinals last Saturday in Spirit Lake. Seamons, a senior quarterback, completed 9-of-19 passes for 304 yards and five touchdowns without an interception.
Herry Ludwig, Council: The Lumberjacks cruised to a 62-0 victory against Kendrick in the 1A Division II state quarterfinals last Saturday in Council. Ludwig, a junior quarterback, completed 6-of-7 passes for 193 yards and five touchdowns and also rushed for 25 yards and another score.
